NOTE: It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure that all order details on the order confirmation are correct including, date, time, dietaries, delivery location and onsite mobile contact.

Please ensure you check these details carefully as re-deliveries, incorrect dates, times, and inability to get in touch with the correct onsite contact can be expensive for both you and for us, and can create havoc for our kitchen, drivers, our other clients, event managers and ultimately your guests!

1.No same day cancellations – customer will be invoiced in full (also applies to Order-In customers)

2.Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to delivery will incur a 30% surcharge on the total order value (ex. GST)

3.Same day orders and menu/delivery change requests will incur a fee of $45.00

4.Collection of any hire equipment is to be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance.  If the equipment or client is unavailable at the scheduled collection time, there will be a rescheduling fee of $45.00

5.If building access is unavailable at time of scheduled delivery, and client contact is uncontactable to make alternative arrangements, our drivers will be unable to wait more than 15 minutes (to ensure other clients receive their catering on time).  If a redelivery is required, there will be a redelivery fee of $35.00 applied to the order.

6.If delivery location is different to that listed on the order confirmation, and our driver is required to deliver the order to a different location, there will be a redelivery fee of $35.00 applied to the order 

All of these fees are relevant to Brisbane CBD & City fringe orders (within 5kms).

DELIVERIES & SCHEDULING

Schedule your delivery a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your event start time – preferably 30 minutes for cold food orders.  We require a window of 15 minutes for deliveries due to juggling logistics such as traffic, loading zones and elevators.  

Although we pride ourselves on timely and reliable deliveries, sometimes the world has other plans!  We will always call (and email if we cannot contact you) if your delivery will be 15 minutes past the requested delivery time.  

PAYMENT

Private orders

All private orders are to be paid upfront a minimum of 24 hours prior to delivery.  If you require longer payment terms, this must be approved by our Events team prior to confirmation of order.

Corporate clients

Approved account clients are 14 days from invoice

All other clients are required to pay via credit card or direct deposit no later than the day of delivery

CHANGE REQUESTS & REFUNDS

Final numbers for your event are required a minimum of 3 business days prior to your delivery.  

We will endeavour to make changes to your booking if you require an increase or decrease of numbers catered within this period.  All changes must be complete a minimum of 24 hours prior.  

For key event bookings in excess of $1500 inc. GST, we may not be able to change your booking within the 3 business day period due to purchases made in advance with our suppliers. 

Although we make every effort to ensure you receive all your catering, sometimes life gets in the way.  For undelivered items, we will void the existing invoice, and reissue a new invoice with these items deducted.  If the order has already been paid, we will provide a refund or credit note for these items at your request.

CANCELLATIONS

For event bookings in excess of $2,500.00 inc. GST, Art of Catering reserves the right to recoup administration costs as below:

Within 4 business days prior to event date:

In the unlikely case of cancellation of your event within 1 week of the event start date, to cover the cost of administration and stock holding costs, Art of Catering will charge a $250 cancellation fee.  Any cancellation costs to Art of Catering’s suppliers for equipment or labour hire or any other service, will also be charged to the client.

Over 48 hrs before: 70% refund plus hire costs (if they cannot be cancelled)

Over 24 hrs before: 50% refund plus hire costs (if they cannot be cancelled)

Less than 24 hrs: no refunds

OUTDOOR EVENTS & WEATHER

If your event is particularly dependent on dry weather, please share your wet weather plan with us.  We recommend checking the weather forecast and confirming your decision 48hrs prior to the event.  All cancellation policies apply, as aforementioned.  Please note that in the case of unfavourable weather, we do not provide discounts if the event is cut short.
